Important MÉCHED AMOGLI rugs designed in wool, kork wool velvet of silky quality, on a cotton foundation: warps, weft and fringes. of Iranian origin, circa 1950. Characterized by an anthracite field representing a mosaic-like plant decor. Branches in convolutions, flower rosettes, cruciform flowers, leaves and florets form this inextricable "vegetal carpet". Consists of six polychrome counter borders surrounding the main one in fuchsia color, all seven being with garlands of flowers. Measurements: Length: 300cm Width: 198cm
