A 19th century Roman jewelry box made by Cesare Roccheggiani.Micromosaic in gold metal and enamel.

Last third of the 19th century.
Dimensions: 6.2 x 10 x 8.3cm.
Roccheggiani was employed at the Vatican micromosaic workshop from 1856 to 1864, but also established his own workshop which is registered first at 125 Via Babuino and then, in 1874, at 14 and 15 Via Condotti.
