"Vintage Isfahan Persian Rug / Antique Finish"
The handmade vintage oriental rugs are between 50 to 80 years old, they are worked in an elaborate finishing process. The rugs are restored, carefully stone washed, stripped of the original colors and then re-inked, giving them a worn look. The pile, which always consists of 100% pure wool on a cotton foundation with special abraded tools.
This rug has been distressed by being sheared to a low/zero pile. There are some minor blemishes which make the rug look antique.

For this collection of editions of Vintage Rugs, the rugs are particularly worked, the multiple surface structure is treated and then dyed.
The rendering gives elegant individual pieces of designer rugs whose original character shines in a new light. Colors are lightfast and waterproof, our vintage rugs can be washed and cleaned, durability is not compromised.

For this model, the rug is an old rug from the Ispahan region.
These rugs are the most sought after in today's market as they offer a beautiful combination of Vintage and Antique.
