La Récréation Françoise ou New historical and chronological game of the kings of France. In Paris at Crepy. (1775). Intaglio on laid paper, format (cuvette) 57 x 46 cm. Game with helical layout: 67 squares, from Pharamond to Louis XVI. Each box has a medallion and an explanatory text below, ornamentation in the frame and around the boxes. The ornaments have been coloured, as has the coat of Louis XVI. New edition of this game; the first, in 1745, went as far as Louis XV. Small marginal restorations, trace of central fold.
