Suite of six chairs in solid cherry wood, with straw seats, four of which have colored strands. The concave backrest, in the cathedral style, consists of two flat balusters similar to Empire columns, and a high arched crosspiece. Each chair rests on two cylindrical front legs connected by a wide, slightly curved band. The two rear legs are sabers. On the sides and on the back, horizontal bars further reinforce the stability of the whole. These property chairs, bicentennial, were originally commissioned by a castellan to furnish the common areas of his residence.
